Police: Burglar forcing through businesses’ roofs on the South Side

Three related commercial burglaries have occurred since late-September in the Back of the Yards and Fuller Park neighborhoods on the South Side, police said in an alert Friday.

The burglar—whose description was not available— has stolen items from three businesses by forcing entry through the roofs, police said.

The incidents occurred in the following blocks during overnight hours:

– 4700 block of South Ashland Avenue, between Oct. 23 and 24.

– 3900 block of South Wells Street, between Sept. 29 and 30.

– 1900 block of West 51st Street, between Sept. 28 and 29.
