Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin break up; though they never confirmed they dated

Here’s a great example of why it’s a good idea to delay confirming a romantic relationship — until you know it’s going to last for a while. To wit: Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay’s Chris Martin never commented on the fact they were dating — a relationship that began earlier this summer.

That was smart, since now we’ve learned Lawrence reportedly pulled the plug on her budding romance with Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex-husband after only a couple of months.

Ironically, Paltrow was the one who was quoted as saying she was looking forward to getting to know Lawrence and that she only wished happiness for Martin, the father of the couple’s two children.
