Katt Williams, Suge Knight arrested, face possible prison terms

An incident dating back to early September led to rapper Suge Knight and rapper and comedian Katt Williams being arrested Wednesday.

As first reported by TMZ, both men were slapped with a robbery charge, accused of grabbing a camera from a female photographer in Beverly Hills on Sept. 6.

The incident occurred outside a recording studio, according to the Los Angeles Country District Attorney’s office.

Williams was arrested when he arrived for a Los Angeles court date for a separate assault case. Knight was apprehended by officers in Las Vegas.

Because both men have criminal records, they could face lengthy prison terms. According to the L.A. District Attorney’s office, Knight could face 30 years to life. Williams could be looking at a maximum of seven years in prison.
