A teenage girl was seriously wounded Friday morning in a Longwood Manor neighborhood shooting on the Far South Side.

About 9:15 a.m., the 16-year-old was walking in an alley in the 9500 block of South Princeton when she heard shots and realized she had been struck in the right arm, buttocks and abdomen, police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
