Fifth Third Bank branch robbed in Oak Park

(OAK PARK) A bank was robbed Saturday morning in west suburban Oak Park.

About 10:35 a.m., the Fifth Third Bank branch at 840 S. Oak Park Ave. was robbed, according to the FBI.

A weapon was not shown during the robbery and no one was injured, the FBI said.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 20 and 25 years old, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, with brown eyes and a thin moustache, the FBI said. He was wearing a jacket with a hood.
