Jackknifed semi causes delays on I-94 in NW Indiana

(PORTAGE, Ind.) One lane is open in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 after a semi truck jackknifed in northwest Indiana early Tuesday.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-94 near State Road 249 about 3:45 a.m., Indiana State Police said.

As of 8:30 a.m., one lane is open in the area but the other lane is expected to remain closed for several more hours as authorities replace the concrete barrier wall, police said.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
