NORRIDGE — The Class 2A Ridgewood Sectional final Friday night between Elmwood Park and Foreman was postponed midway through first half in Norridge.

The game will resume at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The game was scoreless when play was halted with 17:13 left in the first half because of a lightning warning. After waiting 30 minutes, the field was deemed unplayable because markings were hidden by snow.

At the point of stoppage, Foreman had more scoring chances while taking advantge of the strong wind blowing south.
