Harvey man fatally stabbed

(HARVEY) A south suburban man died early Sunday after he was stabbed in the same block where he lived.

Darryl Hope, 23 of the 15100 block of Lexington Avenue in Harvey, was pronounced dead at 15129 Lexington Ave. on Sunday at 2:36 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He died from a stab wound to the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

Harvey police could not be reached Monday afternoon for details.
