SHARE Mondelez buys majority of Vietnamese snacks company

Mondelez International will pay $370 million for a majority stake in Kinh Do Corp., a leading snacks business in Vietnam.

The Deerfield-based cookie, candy and snack-food maker will control 80 percent of Kinh Do.

Kinh Do makes snack cakes, biscuits and crackers that Mondelez says will complement its Oreo, Cadbury and Ritz brands.
