George Bush, Bill Clinton go a little crazy with hashtags

Former president Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have become pals over the years, and not only have they exchanged in buddy-like banter at public appearances, but now they’re taking it to social media as well.

On Wednesday, Clinton, who has more than 2.5 million followers, tweeted about Bush’s new book, “41: A Portrait of My Father.” And took a shot at his buddy, who has resisted joining Twitter.

Take note of the hashtag:

Bush then responded on Instagram with his own hashtag, #BrotherFromAnotherMother.

He may want to be careful when engaging in any social media battles, because that mother he references likes to punish her children by washing their mouths out with soap.

And looking ahead to 2016, what would happen to the friendship if there is a Hillary Clinton/Jeb Bush showdown for the White House?

“Look, I’ll still like him (Bill Clinton), if Jeb — when Jeb beats Hillary,” a smiling Bush said to Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview that aired on Thursday.
