As had been rumored, Solange Knowles married her longtime beau, Alan Ferguson, on Sunday in New Orleans, before a small group of approximately 50 close friends and family members — including her superstar sister Beyonce, brother-in-law Jay-Z and tiny niece Blue Ivy.

The happy event took place in front of a sea of guests dressed in white. According to E! News, shortly before they tied the knot, the soon-to-be-newlyweds were spotted riding bicycles through the Big Easy.

Among the wedding weekend festivities was a Friday night party at the Indywood Cinema Theatre in New Orleans, which also included a screening of “Mahogany,” starring Diana Ross.

Ferguson is a well-known and well-regarded music video director who has worked with an A-List of stars including Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes and Nelly Furtado — plus Beyonce and Jay-Z. He and Knowles moved to New Orleans from Brooklyn several months ago.
