Donald Trump is ‘gonna look at’ running for president in 2016

Here we go again. After flirting with a 2012 presidential run, Donald Trump is dangling that carrot in front of his supporters again, looking ahead to 2016.

But he won’t take the decision lightly, because a run would have a serious impact on his weekly appearances on “Fox and Friends.”

“I may surprise you, I may not be able to do your highest rated segment anymore on Monday morning because if I run, they won’t allow me to do it, right?” Trump wondered aloud.

“Well, that is correct,” Fox host Steve Doocy said. “So are you saying at this point, it looks like you’re gonna be running?”

Trump’s response?

“Well, I’m gonna look at it,” he said. “I’m going to be looking at who’s running.”

He continued:

“If I decide to run, I think I would be a great president,” Trump said.

Fox News has already cut ties with contributor Ben Carson, who prepared a promotional video looking toward a 2016 run, and Fox also said it is “evaluating” Mike Huckabee’s status as a host due to speculation that he’s going to launch another presidential bid.
