SHARE 2015 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival lineup announced

The lineup for the 14th annual Sketch Comedy Festival, Jan. 8-18, 2015, has been announced by Stage 773 creative director Brian Posen. The two-week festival is touted as the largest of its kind in America, with nearly 200 shows.

New performers this year include: Golden Baby (NYC), Hot Thespian Action (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada), The Aces (Portland, Ore.) and Baby Shoes (NYC).

Highlights include the return of:

• Siblings of Doctors (Los Angeles) featuring Danny Pudi from “Community”

• BriKo (Chicago, winners of the 2014 Best of the Fest Award at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival)

• Rabbit, Rabbit (Chicago)

• Kerpatty (Chicago)

• Crassus (Chicago)

• Astronaut Theatre (Chicago)

• The Nerdologues (Chicago)

• 2 Bunnies Eating Flowers (Chicago)

• Tim & Micah Show (Chicago)

• The Cupid Players (Chicago)

• Stir-Friday Night! (Chicago)

• The Reception (Toronto)

• Listen Kid! (NYC)

• Pop Roulette (NYC)

• Cake Batter (LA)

• FUCT (New York)

• Stupid Time Machine (New Orleans)

• Charles (Seattle)

• The Tweet Show (NYC)

• Slow Children at Play (Boston)

All performances will take place at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont. Tickets are $15 and will go on sale at noon Dec. 1, at stage773.com or by phone at (773) 327-5252 or the theater box office. Tickets purchased before Dec. 31 receive a $2 discount.
