Kim Kardashian’s nude butt shot boosts sex tape sales to No. 1

Whatever you want to say about Kim Kardashian, she is a pro when it comes to marketing herself. Thanks to that infamous naked butt photo on the cover of Paper magazine, the reality TV phenom’s sex tape with Ray J reportedly now has become the best-selling celebrity sex tape of all time.

Of course, we must remember we have not kept track of such trash for very long.

We also must remember it was that equally infamous sex tape that actually put Kardashian in the public eye to begin with — leading her and her family to rack up an estimated $66 million annually in endorsements and other marketing ploys.

According to Vivid Entertainment, which sells that Kim-Ray J tape, the Paper magazine cover was something of a windfall for Ray J too. Kardashian’s long-ago former boyfriend reportedly made a cool $50,000 last week for his share of the profits from those video sales. That comes on top of the estimated $90,000 he earns on average each quarter from the sex tape’s sales.

No word on what Kim’s slice of the pie is for that tape.
