How do the two rookies approach playing NBA2K15?

LOS ANGELES – How do you know you arrived in the NBA?

For many ballers it’s being in the NBA2K video game franchise for that first time.

Here’s the approach Bulls rookies Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic approach playing as themselves.

McDermott: “Yeah, it’s hard to explain. At first I was like, ‘Wow, I’m going to be on a video game.’ But once you get it, it feels kind of normal. But it shouldn’t feel normal at all. I mean I’m on a video game.’’

As far as how he plays, McDermott usually plays with the Suns, but when he does play with the Bulls, “I take a big out, put myself in. Think I took Jo [Noah] out so we had a bunch of shooters out there. Just run and gun.’’

Mirotic: “Shoot the ball when it’s in my hands. Shoot, shoot and keep shooting. But I still think I’m better in real life than they make me on the game.’’
