One man was killed and another was injured Saturday night in a shooting in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Rayvon Little, 20, was standing outside with a 19-year-old man about 7 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Morgan, when a group of people walked by and one person in the group opened fire, striking both men, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Little, who lived on the same block as the shooting, was shot in the abdomen and leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:07 p.m., authorities said.

An autopsy Sunday found Little died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

The 19-year-old man was shot in the leg and was also take to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
