Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery return to Bears practice

After missing Wednesday’s practice with injuries that weren’t considered particularly serious, Bears receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were limited in Thursday’s session.

Marshall has an ankle injury, while Jeffery is nursing a hamstring problem.

Tackles Eben Britton (appendicitis) and Jordan Mills (ribs) were limited, too. Trestman said Mills was “day to day.”

Defensive end Jared Allen got a veteran’s day off Thursday, while cornerback Demontre Hurst (knee), defensive end Trevor Scott (knee), linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) and returner Chris Williams (hamstring) were held out. Trestman said the team didn’t believe Hurst’s injury was serious.
