The story line: This game is thoroughly winnable for the Illini, but so much has to go right. Their subpar offensive line has to protect for Wes Lunt, a talented but immobile quarterback. Lunt’s receivers — not a very polished group — have to get separation from PSU’s defensive backs. The defense, which hasn’t generated much pressure of late, must hit and rattle Nittany Lions quarterback Christian Hackenberg. As always, the run defense must be better than terrible.
