A man was listed in serious condition after he was stabbed in the head in the Pilsen neighborhood Friday night.

About 9:20 p.m., the 30-year-old was in a fight with gang members in the 1100 block of West 18th Street when he was stabbed in the head, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Alfaro said.
