Male shot walks into West Town hospital

A male walked into a West Town neighborhood hospital with a gunshot wound to his thumb early Saturday.

The male — whose age was not immediately known — walked into Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center about 2:15 a.m. with a graze wound to his thumb, police said. He told police that he was shot while leaving a party in the 2800 block of North Sheridan.

He was not cooperating with investigators Saturday morning, police said.
