FRANKFORT – After being outrebounded by three in the first half, Lincoln-Way West coach Brian Flaherty instructed his Warriors to kindly hit the boards.

The Warriors, led by 6-foot-6 junior Jon Marotta and 6-foot-1 sophomore Marco Pettinato, did just that to lead Lincoln-Way West to a 49-36 victory over district-rival Lincoln-Way East in the 2014 Pheast of the Phoenix Thanksgiving Tournament opener held at Lincoln-Way North.
