Teen shot in North Lawndale

A teenage boy was shot Wednesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The boy, 16, was shot in the shoulder and leg about 4 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Kolin, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.

He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, Zala said.
