Two shot in Back of the Yards

Two men were shot Wednesday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The men, ages 19 and 21, were both shot about 5:10 p.m. near 50th and Halsted, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.

The 19-year-old was shot in the left leg, while the 21-year-old was shot in the right leg, Zala said. They were both taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital.
