SHARE Addison gas station sells $1M lottery ticket

(ADDISON) A gas station in west suburban Addison sold a winning ticket worth $1 million in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

The ticket, which was purchased at Sunshine Shell, 415 S. Addison Road, matched the first five out of six winning numbers in Saturday’s drawing, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery. The winner has not yet come forward.

The gas station will receive a bonus of $10,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket, according to the statement.
