Do the Shiva Bowl Shuffle: ‘The League’ drops new soundtrack Tuesday on iTunes

This should be music to the ears of “The League” fans: The FXX sitcom Tuesday released an official soundtrack for the Chicago-set show that includes 17 original NSFW tunes.

The new album is available on iTunes for $11.99 or $1.29 a song.

It features the musical stylings of cast member Jon Lajoie (aka “Taco”), along with other series regulars, guest stars and NFL players. (Sorry, no Jay Cutler.)

For the uninitiated, “The League” is like a bawdier, fantasy-football version of “Friends.” The ensemble cast includes Stephen Rannazzisi as Kevin, a happily married father and commissioner of the league. Katie Aselton plays his better half, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Mark Duplass is the perennial league champ who can’t quite grow up. Lajoie is Kevin’s little brother, a part-time musician and full-time stoner. Nick Kroll does a turn as an obnoxious Northwestern grad named Ruxin who thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room (and with this crowd, he often is). Paul Scheer plays a plastic surgeon who’s managed to remain the crew’s collective punching bag since high school.

Season six debuts Sept. 3 with the first of 13 new episodes on FXX.
