Strike 2 vs. Viator soccer tournament

This week’s cold weather is even affecting soccer players, if you can believe it. Certainly soccer players should be able to play in cold temperatures.

Cold temps Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25 have postponed the first two rounds of the St. Viator tournament.

The first round becomes the scheduled games for Wednesday, March 26:

St. Viator at Niles North, noon

South Elgin at Lake Zurich, noon

Hersey at Benet, 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s postponed games are now scheduled for Thursday, March 27:

South Elgin vs. St. Viator at Niles North, noon

Hersey at Lake Zurich, noon

Benet at Niles North, 4:30 p.m.

Games for Friday, March 28, weather permitting:

South Elgin at Niles North, 10 a.m.

Hersey vs. St. Viator at Niles North, noon

Benet at Lake Zurich, 4:30 p.m.

Games for Saturday, March 29:

Benet at St. Viator, 8:30 a.m.

Lake Zurich at Niles North, 8:30 a.m.

South Elgin vs. Hersey at Niles North, 10:30 a.m.

St. Viator at Lake Zurich, 2 p.m.

Hersey at Niles North, 2 p.m.

South Elgin vs. Benet at Niles North, 4 p.m.
