Now it’s boys basketball’s turn.

The West Suburban Conference tips off at 7:30 p.m. tonight with the debut of seven crossover games to end the regular season. The conference’s girls basketball teams held their first season-ending crossover games Feb. 8 with Silver champion Proviso West beating Gold champ Hinsdale South 51-39 in Hillside.

All the girls games were held at Silver sites. The boys games will be hosted by the Gold. Unlike the Mid-Suburban League or North Suburban Conference, no overall conference champion will be crowned.

Gold champion Proviso East will play one more game before the playoffs. The Pirates are scheduled to play at Marquette University High in Milwaukee at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The Class 4A playoffs begin Monday. In at least two of Monday’s games, West Chicago plays at Lyons at 7:30 p.m. and Hinsdale South plays Downers Grove North at 6 p.m. at Oswego.

Here is the list of tonight’s matchups:

First place: No. 23 Oak Park-River Forest (18-5) at No. 2 Proviso East (24-0)

Second place: Hinsdale Central at Downers Grove South

Third place: York at Morton

Fourth place: Glenbard West at Hinsdale South

Fifth place: Lyons at Leyden

Sixth place: Proviso West at Willowbrook

Seventh place: Downers Grove North at Addison Trail
