Dillard, a 5-10 point guard, probably has a higher national profile than local one. His stellar play at Kingwood and Boo Williams this spring had his name on the tip of everyone’s tongue.

Thursday night he made his choice and became the fourth player in the class of 2008 to head to Carbondale, joining Chris Parrish of Riverside-Brookfield. Dillard visited the campus over the weekend.
