Trailing 8-0 entering the fourth quarter, Morgan Park (3-2, 2-0 Prairie State) got some heroics from quarterback Andre Newell, who tossed a 73-yard touchdown pass to Charles Bournes to tie the game at 8-8 with 8:25 remaining. Newell then connected with Theodore Jones on a 54-yard scoring pass with 2:30 to play that proved to be the game-winner.

After putting Robeson (3-2, 1-1) ahead 8-0 on a four-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, star running back Devon Sanders left the game with an ankle injury with 9:59 to play in the fourth quarter.
