Undefeated and No. 1-ranked Wheaton Warrenville South earned the top seed at its own sectional. The IHSA posted the complete playoff pairings Friday. Winners from each sectional will advance to the state tournament beginning June 1 at Hoffman Estates.

The Tigers are among four No. 1 seeds playing in their own sectional with second-ranked Glenbrook North, Young and Barrington. The other No. 1 seeds are fifth-ranked Lincoln-Way North at Lincoln-Way East, Oak Park-River Forest at De La Salle and Elk Grove at Elgin.

The Wheaton South Sectional is located right in the middle of power-packed DuPage County. Including the Tigers, the sectional features four teams ranked in YourSeason.com’s Top 10 with No. 4 Glenbard East, No. 6 Glenbard West and No. 7 Downers Grove North.

Another team at the sectional, Downers South, upset the Hilltoppers Thursday. OPRF defeated St. Francis, the No. 10 seed at Wheaton South, Thursday in a warmup before this weekend’s Glenbrook North Invitational.
