Maine South Football National Notice

The Hawks have been in USA Today’s rankings before. In the latest poll released Dec. 7, the 14-0 team from Park Ridge finished as the top-ranked club in the Midwest. Maine South is No. 9 in the national poll, but the Hawks could move up as six teams ahead of them still have games left.

In other football news, offensive lineman Victor Nelson was selected to participate in the U.S. Army’s scouting combine in January.
