All-tournament team named at Mizuno Cup

Top-ranked and top-seeded Benet won St. Charles East’s Mizuno Cup Saturday with a 25-16, 25-12 victory over the host Saints at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora.

Benet’s Meghan Haggerty was named MVP. The rest of the all-tournament team includes Jenna Jendryk and Maddie Haggert, Benet; Nicole Lambert, Meghan Niski, St. Charles East; Jillian Hickey, Morgan Reardon, Joliet Catholic; Annemarie Chin, Leon (Fla.); Melissa Nava, Hinsdale South; Lexi Gober, Edwardsville; Lauren Dunseith, Barrington; Lauren Behrens, Lincoln-Way East.
