Wrestling move lands OPRF grad on ESPN2

Oak Park-River Forest graduate Ellis Coleman was a guest on ESPN2’s “First Take” Tuesday morning to discuss his dazzling Flying Squirrel move at last week’s World Junior Championships.

Coleman won a second consecutive bronze medal in Bucharest, Romania, but his takedown has already garnered 2.7 million hits on YouTube. Coleman’s three-point takedown came against Iran’s Mehdi Chooli Zeidvand of Iran in the quarterfinals.

At OPRF, Coleman was a three-time state medalist taking fifth at 112 pounds in 2007, third at 125 in 2008 and third at 135 in 2009.
