It seems according to Nelson Gord’s twitter feed that he will be the new baseball coach at Notre Dame in Niles. He takes over the position from Bob Kostuch.
A standout at Buffalo Grove, Gord once played for the Schaumburg Flyers and now coaches a travel team in the area.
After winning the 2004 state title, the Dons have won only one regional title.
