Lyons hosts Blackout game for Kelli

Introductions from Chicago Sky public address announcer Ray Clay (left) are among the highlights for Lyons’ Blackout game at 7:30 p.m. Friday against West Suburban Silver rival Hinsdale South. The game will be Lyons’ final regular season boys basketball game of the year.

Lyons hosts a Class 4A regional and will play West Chicago at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 to open the playoffs.

Friday night’s Blackout also features a half-court shot to win a new car and during the game organizers will hold a raffle for autographed memorabillia and gift cards. All proceeds will be donated to the Kelli O’Laughlin (below) Memorial Scholarship Fund.
