Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner released a new TV ad on Wednesday that promises he will freeze property taxes if elected governor.

Rauner first raised the issue in July along with announcing he would find $600 million more in revenue from taxing services.

Meanwhile, Gov. Pat Quinn’s camp turned around a web-only video, highlighting a Washington Post article saying Rauner spends more on wine each year than the average Illinois household spends “on everything.”
