In accordance with his mother’s wishes, iO Theater on N. Kingsbury is devoting tonight’s 8 p.m. “The Armando Diaz Experience” show to its late teacher and longtime performer Jason Chin. Chin died unexpectedly last week at age 46.

Featuring monologuists whose stories inspire improv scenes, Armando’s Monday performance in the Del Close Theater will focus on Chin’s life.

Because so many people are expected to attend, the theater is also streaming the show live for those who can’t get in. Admission is free.
