Bears’ Kyle Long and Martellus Bennett are in a Twitter fight

Chicago Bears players Kyle Long and Martellus Bennett appear to be in some sort of social media brouhaha.

It started Sunday afternoon when Long, an offensive guard, apparently discovered that Bennett unfollowed him on Twitter. What a scandal!

Long reciprocated.

Bennett, the Bears’ tight end, woke up Tuesday morning and wasn’t amused. He unloaded a string of profanity-laced tweets at Long.

Whoa.

This doesn’t seem like the best use of time after a 5-11 season, the recent hiring of a new general manager and the impending hire of a new coach.
