Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit and seriously injured a school crossing guard on the Far South Side on Monday afternoon.
Shortly before 4 p.m., a 27-year-old woman working as a crossing guard at the intersection of 127th Street and Union in West Pullman was hit by an SUV traveling “at a high rate of speed,” according to an alert from police.
