SHARE Metra BNSF train to skip Western, Halsted stops

A Chicago-bound Metra BNSF train is bypassing two stops because of mechanical problems Wednesday morning.

Inbound train No. 1212, scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 7 a.m., will not stop at Western Avenue or Halsted due to mechanical problems, according to a service alert on Metra’s website.

Train No. 1222 will accommodate passengers at Western Avenue and Halsted, Metra said.
