Man shot to death in Ashburn

A 24-year-old man was shot to death in the South Side Ashburn neighborhood Wednesday evening.

Terrence Harris was walking through a gangway at 5:22 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Artesian when two males approached him and fired shots, striking him several times, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Harris, of the 9200 block of South Elizabeth, was pronounced dead minutes later at University of Chicago Medical Center, the medical examiner’s office said.
