Bloom holds off Crete-Monee

When Crete-Monee’s Tyler Williams launched a potential game-tying shot in the final seconds of Friday night’s Southland Conference game against Bloom, the Blazing Trojans held their collective breath, fearing the worst and hoping for the best.

Williams’ shot was on line, but a little short, bouncing off the front of the rim and out of harm’s way as Bloom held on for a 50-47 win over the Warriors in Steger.
