Man shot to death in Gary

(GARY, Ind.) A man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in Gary, Ind.

Officers responding to a call shots fired about 4:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Washington Street found 18-year-old Gregory Marshall lying in the middle of the street, according to police and the Lake County coroner’s office.

Marshall, of the 0 – 100 block of West 47th Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
