Man shot in Grand Crossing

A shooting in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side left a 21-year-old man seriously wounded on Sunday afternoon.

About 12:30 p.m. the man was on the street in the 6900 block of South Dante when a vehicle pulled up and a gunman got out and opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the neck, elbow and buttocks and taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
