A man was injured in a drive-by shooting Sunday evening in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 32-year-old was standing outside about 7:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 66th Place when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots in the man’s direction, police said.

He was shot in the buttocks and the thigh and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
