A 58-year-old man was shot in the South Deering neighborhood on the Far South Side Monday afternoon.

About 3:20 p.m., the man suffered a graze wound to his forehead in the 10700 block of South Hoxie, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
