A man was shot in a possible robbery in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side early Friday.

About 3:45 a.m., the 25-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 2200 block of North Narragansett, police said.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
