Police: Austin business burglarized twice last month

Police are warning businesses about a pair of burglaries reported last month at a manufacturing business in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

In each of the incidents, one or more suspects broke into a manufacturing company in the 5100 block of West Roosevelt and stole manufacturing equipment and supplies, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred on Dec. 7 and Dec. 14 between 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., police said.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
