Proviso West’s Calvin Davis announced some details of the 2015 Proviso West Holiday Tournament on Thursday.

The tournament will take place Dec. 26, 28, 29 and 30. Sixteen teams will participate including St. Joseph, Fenwick, Morton, New Trier, Proviso East, Proviso West, Bogan and Kenwood.

“We have a few openings and would like to add a couple more quality teams and players,” said Davis. “We’ve offered an invitation to several exciting up and coming teams with standout players. If a quality team is interested they can call me.”

Hillcrest wasn’t listed by Davis but coach Don Houston says the Hawks will be back at Proviso West in 2015.

Hinsdale Central, Homewood-Flossmoor, Maine South, Stevenson, Uplift, Phillips, Providence-St. Mel, Rockford Auburn, St. Rita and St. Viator participated in 2014 but will apparently have new holiday tournament homes in 2015.
