SHARE Crystal Lake South holds off Cary-Grove

Matt Schingel displayed some impeccable timing.

Crystal Lake South needed something to slow down Cary-Grove, which had cut the Gators’ lead from eight points to three in the fourth quarter.

South had clanged away most of the game from behind the 3-point arc, but Schingel got an open look from the right corner and swished it, practically producing a collective sigh of relief from the Gators’ bench.
